Opening Doors Alumni Program

We're excited to introduce our new Alumni Program, open to all LFDCS Graduates. We recognize the need for support and guidance throughout our students’ educational journey - from LFDCS graduation, to high school, and beyond.

Our goal with the Alumni program is to connect past and current students, to build a stronger sense of community, and to provide encouragement, mentorship, and resources that can make a real difference. Whether it’s advice, inspiration, building community, or just knowing someone’s cheering you on, this program is all about giving back and helping each other grow.

How did your time at LFDCS prepare you for Pomfret School?
My time at LFDCS prepared me for Pomfret with their quick transitions from class to class and learning how to be on time.

What does being an alum of LFDCS mean to you?
Being an Alum of LFDCS to me means just being happy as I was able to go to a school as good as LFDCS.

Do you keep in touch with classmates or teachers?
I do keep in touch with my classmates and a few teachers.

What are you most excited about at Pomfret School? It's now my second week in Pomfret School but what I'm mostly excited for is just how my career will go and end up to be from here on out.

How did your time at LFDCS prepare you for CCHS?
I would say that LFDCS, definitely taught me how to communicate and express myself and my morals and who I am down on earth in a way that I am super grateful for because it's helping me make so much friends here at CCHS. not only that but the whole admissions process is so amazing and they help so much and I'm super grateful for it.

What does being in an alum LFDCS mean to you?
I would say that being an alum for LFDCS to me means to be part of a family that's still connected for example, even though we graduated a couple months ago I still have people from my grade that I didn't really talk to, yet they still find a way to ask me how my day was going and or how is central going, and I ask them how perhaps boarding is going or their school is going

What are you most excited about at Central Catholic High School?
Well, I’m most excited for the games and school activities at CCHS. I would say that being a Raider is definitely an adventure because whether it’s a school assembly or orientation, you can always hear the excitement and yelling everywhere you go. You really feel so connected, and I’m so excited to spend the rest of my four years at Central Catholic
