Academy of Early Academic Prep | Grades 1 & 2

The Academy for Early Academic Prep for Grades 1 & 2 is located at 10 Railroad Street in Lawrence, MA. It is comprised of 5 classrooms, each staffed by one certified teacher and one paraprofessional is shared for the five classrooms. Teachers are typically assigned to students for two years for Grades 1 & 2, a format known as looping. This provides students continuity of the education program and attention to student achievement.

Integrated within the school day are programs designed to build essential skills for high academic achievement. These opportunities promote enrichment and holistic development, fostering the growth of the whole child. Extensive language development, phonemic awareness and number sense are complemented by learning and play centers, music, art, fitness, Social/Emotional Learning, and Spanish.
